Good afternoon Alcott School Community,
Spring Break: This is well-deserved and I wish you all a relaxing and joyful week with family and friends. Take care of yourself, stay safe and healthy. As I have stated to our staff, there has never been a timelier period in education to come together as a team: to brainstorm, to remain innovative, to keep our focus on the goal of creating the conditions for learning that reach not only the academic focus but the well-being of our school community. Coming back after a year away creates anxiety, excitement and questions; however, you are part of the team and your patience and willingness to have your voice heard is one of the factors necessary for us to be true to our "Alcott Vision".
Reminders:
Our Teachers will be asking you once again for your preference of on-site or distance learning. You have been asked to complete far too many surveys and I apologize; however, preparing for the exact number of students who will be coming back to Alcott is extremely important so we can safely prepare our site with the necessary social distancing for classrooms.
