12/17/21 Friday Update

Good afternoon Alcott School Community,
Hard to believe that 2021 is coming to an end.  I have enjoyed my first year with Alcott more than I thought possible.  Our amazing students, staff, parents and guardians and our school community have filled my Bucket.  I am entering our Break very content.  Thank you.
I wish you all a very pleasant 2 weeks with friends and family.  We know that the holidays can also be challenging for kids and adults.  Be sure to reach out for services if needed.  The below resources have been placed on our website (as are many others) by our school psychologist, Ms. Worley and our school counselor, Ms. Campbell.
The Mental Health of our school community matters, and we must take care of ourselves and others.

This week was a wonderful opportunity for me to celebrate our first year back at school.  From classroom presentations to student comments on the yard, our goal of creating a safe and welcome school culture is working and I am proud of this team and our amazing community.
Have a great break with your friends and families.
I am enthusiastic to see you all back in 2022!
