I hope you are all doing well and staying safe/healthy. A continued “Kudo-Drop for your Bucket” to our amazing families for their continued positivity and support of our Alcott Team.
This week’s FWOW (Feeling Word of the Week) is FOCUSED. Be sure to use this word with your children at home, during dinner time conversations, and at family time. Our classroom teachers will be engaging students in what it means to be FOCUSED and how this emotion can benefit us.
Pizza with the Principal next week we will be celebrating 9 Leaders and Scholars from Ms. Graham, Ms. Summers, Ms. Brakespear (3 per class = 9 total will join me). Students will be selected by teachers for demonstrating what it means to be a bucket filler at Alcott. Be Kind: Be a Bucket Filler!
2022-23 ACADEMIC CALENDAR
- The approved academic calendar for next school year is available on our district website.
- First Day of School: Monday, August 29, 2022
- There will not be any changes to the 2022-2023 calendar.
2022 SUMMER PRIMETIME PROGRAM
- The 2022 PrimeTime Summer Program will be offered at schools hosting Summer Experience this year.
- Visit the PrimeTime Summer website for a list of schools, program schedule and information.
- Online Application will be available Monday, March 21, 2022, at 8:00 a.m.
- A message will be sent to SDUSD families on Tuesday, February 22.

Our next Clairemont Community of Schools Meeting is Thursday, March 3 at 5:00 pm. These meetings are our opportunity to discuss our needs and our successes. Our cohort of 5 Clairemont Elementary principals, Marston Middle School principal and Clairemont High School principal attend these meetings with our Area Superintendent to hear directly from you. Join us this Thursday!
